Eliminate Food Waste
Together we can end food waste and act more responsibly.
The problem of food waste is massive but solvable. According to the United Nations, food waste “refers to the decrease in the quantity or quality of food resulting from decisions and actions by retailers, food service providers and consumers”. Eliminating food waste should be taken into account toward achieving other objectives of improving food security and nutrition, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, lowering pressure on water and land resources and increasing productivity and economic growth.
